I biked 6 miles in the morning. Three miles one way, and three miles the other way. Going back, wind resistance went against us. It was near impossible to go up hills. After that, my legs were so tired, I could barely move them. Than, I drove to the Lincoln Restaurant for a delicious pancake breakfast, then headed home.
I wasn't the only person there, and it was much more than just my family. Once a year in Chicago, thousands of people ride their bikes on Lake Shore Drive. All of the cars were forced of the streets until the bikers were forced to flee.
It was a lot of fun and I hope to do it again, depending on the wind conditions. It was worth it and I am glad I put some exercise into my Memorial Day weekend.

  1. Just to be clear, you did NOT drive to the Lincoln Restaurant. *I* drove. But we were all bushed riding those last three miles against the wind. Whew!
